Responsibilities:

  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers across all relevant categories within each assigned vendor.
  • Serve as the internal vendor expert with a deep understanding of each vendor’s requirements, pricing structure, buying timelines, buying preferences, customer base, and any relevant news or noteworthy events related to the assigned vendor.
  • Manage and lead problem/issue resolutions for accounts through internal coordination and communication.
  • Identify and pursue new business and sales opportunities with net new national retail vendors.
  • Demonstrate and communicate deep product knowledge, category expertise, and service offerings to customers.
  • Manage and oversee each service opportunity's complete, end-to-end project cycle with detailed tracking of execution requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide direction and guidance to BearCom Service Support and relevant company departments to ensure thorough execution of each project in adherence to vendor guidelines.
  • Understand and manage costs and margins associated with each vendor to maximize the profitability of each order.
  • Provide accurate monthly project forecasts to support business planning and efficient operations.
  • Represent the company professionally and advocate for its best interests in interactions with vendor connections.
  • Travel as needed
  • Act as a proactive and resourceful problem solver, promptly obtaining all required answers.
  • Demonstrate unwavering positivity, an optimistic outlook, a respectful demeanor, and a strong commitment to being a collaborative team player.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sales and vendor management experience
  • 5 years of working experience with large OEM Vendors
  • 5 years of experience in the wireless or information technology industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
